About Including
Personal Names In The Holy Book
…
The Head: His name was written in another place in the bible.
Apostle Matthew: Why?
The Head: It all depends on who is writing and why he is writing. Ourselves, who are writing here, sometimes, in personal messages, we do not mention the person’s name, unless it is very important message or teaching, which other people can learn from. We may take, write, the message but we do not call the person’s name.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, do you know that it is important that the person’s name be called, be mentioned?
The Head: Yes. It is true. It is important. But the worldly people will battle against that. But in all the writings going on now, Chukwudi’s name is being mentioned, because he is striving to live as God wants. Other people, if they hear that their names were written in the holy book, they will cause trouble.
Apostle Matthew: That is not how it should be. You have to call the person’s name. If the person’s name is not mentioned or written, the person being spoken about shall not be known.
Apostle Matthew: Is it good?
The Head: In the wisdom of the world, what is important is receiving the correction or teaching.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, if the name of Mary Magdalene was not called, would you congregation have known about her?
The Head: We shall not know.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, there is reasons why calling name is important. If the person, after doing the wrong thing, repented, the person’s name shall be mentioned. But if the person did not repent, then you have to write it the way that you are writing it.
The Head: Thanks be to God.
Methods Of Giving Names
Son of man, in the past, sometimes, the first son answered
the name of the family. For example, if the family name is Zealot and Simon is
the first son, his name was Simon Zealot.
Another method of giving names was to indicate the name of
the person’s city. That is why Jesus Christ is called Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Similarly, Mary Magdalene was a woman from the city called Magdalene.
Therefore, Mary Magdalene simply means the Mary of Magdalene or the Mary from
the city of Magdalene. And Joseph Arimathea is the man called Joseph, from the city
of Arimathea.
The names given to people who worshipped God was different
from the names given to those who worshipped idols. The current generations of
idol worshippers are given the names of their pagan ancestors, while the names
of the current worshippers of God are given the names of their Godly ancestors
who worshipped God Almighty. That was how the names of the Israelites were
derived. In other words, the name of a lineage matters a lot.
Usually in the ancient times, it is the Angels that give
names to children and people. The ancient people of God go into the spirit, to
inquire from God. The present and modern generations are disorganizing all
things, because Satan is secretly inspiring and controlling them. That is why
the pastors, reverend fathers and other religious leaders are misguided
leaders, who are deceiving multitudes.
